The following are a small collection of articles that have been published over the past few months, and some I have simply written for myself. I do hope you enjoy them.
2012 - The Power of the Group.
Much is being written about the end of the Mayan Great Cycle, culminating at the end of December 2012 and the birth of a New Age. The conclusion of past cycles and the beginning of new ones, have heralded huge global changes: volcanic eruptions, the Ice Age, and the floods. Many pundits and visionaries suggest that conditions may be in place for yet another change of epic proportions. However, the fact that the energy and possibility are in place does not necessarily mean that it will happen. We all have the power to moderate and shape our future to some degree. Our Guides are clear on one thing: that which is seen as a disaster by some, may be viewed as a wonderful opportunity by others. It has been made clear to us that following this shift we will be able to learn and grow through blessed joy and happiness, rather than the fear, shame, guilt and anger that so many of us experience now. The word apocalypse actually means a future revelation, the revealing of a new way of living, a new way of being in the world.
This change will be instigated by meditation and prayer, in groups and individually: by carrying out selfless works for others, caring not whether it is acknowledged or praised; by working on our Karmic Journey to help lighten the energy of our universe; and by paying great attention to and neutralizing any malevolent energy around us. By accepting that we are not separate from God, whatever name we may give him, and that he is within us all and that we are all divine, we all absorb, reflect and walk in his Light...
Hypnosis is beneficial, in some way, to almost everyone.
It puts you in touch with the most powerful and resourceful part of you, your unconscious mind. It can help you build self-confidence, enhance learning and comprehension, achieve goals, increase motivation, reduce stress, improve health, control habits, develop intuition, help manage pain and assist spiritual growth...
Power
One of my favourite analogies about power is this: The Roman Empire effectively disappeared more than a thousand years ago, but a single human being that the Roman soldiers put to death on a cross continues to affect the lives of millions of people and shape the development of our species. Who had the real power in that scenario?
Karma - a personal view
Imagine if you will a still, deep pond with grassy banks. Calm and clear, the water reflects the surrounding trees and hills whilst absorbing and reflecting the Light...
Serenity - the power of inner peace
Serenity has many meanings...calm, peace, stillness, quiet, repose, but to me there’s a little more to it than that. To be serene means to be in control of your physical and emotional actions and responses. Actually being in control of your thoughts. To be in that place where you exude calm and rarely need to think about accessing it, because it’s always there as we allow our words and deeds to reflect our true feelings.
I believe that most of us seek similar things in life, and paramount to me is holding on to those feelings of calm no matter what prevails. Thereby allowing ourselves the space and time to think what we want, to be truly in the moment and not bouncing around with what the Buddhists call our "monkey brain". One moment fussing over the past and the next lost in the future. Being in the "now" is one of the greatest gifts we can offer ourselves. It takes just one thought or intuition to completely change our lives, and the world we live in.
I have about 30 "life tips" to help foster serenity in our lives and I’d like to share a few of them now.
